Job Title: Vice President – Debt Capital Markets

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Debt Capital Markets (DCM) team based in HK within the Investment Banking Division. The successful candidate will play a key role in client-facing origination and execution of debt financing solutions for corporate and institutional clients across Greater China. This position requires strong market knowledge, relationship management skills, and execution capabilities in both offshore and onshore markets.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead client-facing activities for origination and execution of debt capital market transactions, including bonds, liability
management, and related financing solutions.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with issuers, investors, and key stakeholders to identify and develop new business
opportunities.
• Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to deliver tailored financing solutions.
• Provide strategic advice on funding options, market conditions, and regulatory developments to clients.
• Coordinate with syndicate, legal and relationship teams to ensure seamless transaction execution and client satisfaction.
• Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for clients in both offshore and onshore bond markets.
• Prepare pitch books, proposals, and marketing materials for client engagement.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, contributing to team development and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications & Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 7–10 years of relevant experience in Debt Capital Markets or Investment Banking for VP level; 3–6 years for AVP
level.
• Strong understanding of Greater China credit markets; knowledge and experience in onshore RMB bond market is a plus.
• Proven track record in client-facing origination and execution of DCM transactions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Mandarin; Cantonese is an advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
